York, PA – White Rose Credit Union is excited to announce plans for Youth Month 2022.
Every April, the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) promotes National Credit Union Youth Month. The month is themed towards teaching and encouraging kids to develop strong financial habits early on, as well as the benefits of belonging to a credit union.
This April, White Rose Credit Union is celebrating youth month and giving away prizes for two age groups.
Ages 13 & Under
Children ages 13 and under can participate in WRCU’s Youth Month Contest by completing one of many coloring activities. Coloring activities for Youth Month will be available for pick-up at all White Rose Credit Union branches. Each coloring page submission will enter the youth member into the drawing, which will be submitted at the branches. The winnings for this age group will be:
- 4 Tickets to a York Revolution Home Game (sitting in White Rose Credit Union branded seats)
- Opportunity to throw the first pitch at the attended York Revolution game
- A $50 Keystone Kidspace Gift Card
Ages 14-17
Youth ages 14 through 17 can participate in WRCU’s Youth Month Contest by playing Zogo, the financial literacy app. Zogo is available on the App Store or Google Play and contains bite-sized educational modules. Users should use the access code WRCU. All players that download Zogo within York County will be sponsored by White Rose Credit Union on the Zogo app. The qualifying user with the most accumulated points by the end of the month will win. The winnings for this age group will be:
- 4 Tickets to a York Revolution Home Game (sitting in White Rose Credit Union branded seats)
- A $50 Books-a-Million Gift Card
- Assorted White Rose Credit Union gear
Youth Month will conclude at the end of April and winners will be announced by Friday, May 6, 2022. Coloring page availability and Zogo contest tracking begin on April 1, 2022.
