At White Rose Credit Union, we believe in making a difference in our community. Through our Jeans for a Reason initiative, we are thrilled to announce that we have raised $800.09 for the Shine Music Foundation. This initiative allows our staff to donate $2 from each paycheck to wear jeans every Friday, and we also collect additional contributions through coin boxes placed in our branches for members and staff.
The Shine Music Foundation, founded by Peter Bottros in York, PA, is dedicated to providing music educational programs to students in need and fostering leadership and self-esteem in children. Recently, Peter acquired a new building for the foundation, marking a significant milestone in their mission.
Our Marketing team had the pleasure of visiting the new building during its construction phase to present Peter with the check. Peter expressed his gratitude, noting that the donation arrived at a crucial time, as they had just paid a large bill associated with the building that morning. The funds will be instrumental in continuing to educate students in need and building their confidence.
We are incredibly proud of our staff and members for their generosity and commitment to supporting local organizations like the Shine Music Foundation. Together, we can make a difference and help build a brighter future for our community.
