Harrisburg PA – White Rose Credit Union was recently named as one of five Leaders in Financial Literacy by the CrossState Credit Union Association for 2023.
The association, which covers credit unions across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, represents more than 500 credit unions of all sizes. As one of the largest regional credit union trade associations in the nation, they provide education, experiences, and services to help move credit unions forward.
The Leaders in Financial Literacy Award recognizes the hard work and dedication of financial literacy programs for the community and local schools.
White Rose Credit Union currently offers a variety of customizable financial education offerings to the community and local schools at no cost. From budgeting simulations and financial literacy apps to interactive presentations, the credit union can provide educational resources to help support any type of student.
White Rose will be honored at a special ceremony during CrossState’s Annual Convention this Spring in Hershey, Pennsylvania. In addition, the credit union will receive a $2,500 award for the continuation of financial literacy programs.
